Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Analyst (Automation Testing in Karate) with 2-4 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and hands-on experience in manual testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to understand business requirements and ensure quality standards.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application compatibility.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide feedback on testability.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and best practices.
- Prepare test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL queries for database validation.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with basic automation testing concepts(Karate).
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
