Job Description
The Lead Full Stack Developer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of a scalable and high-performance application. They will work in collaboration with a team of full-stack developers in a Scrum-based environment, under the guidance of a Business Application Owner.
The Lead Developer will play a critical role in ensuring the technical quality of the application by promoting best practices, ensuring secure coding standards, and optimizing performance. The candidate is expected to mentor team members, provide technical leadership, and act as the primary point of contact for technical challenges. A deep understanding of the business domain and the ability to translate complex functional requirements into scalable technical solutions are essential for success in this role.
This role also requires hands-on technical expertise to address challenges in system design, database architecture, integration with microservices, and cloud deployment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business needs.
Qualifications :
Software Development: 8 to 10 years of experience in web software development with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Database Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, database optimization, and writing complex queries.
Job Scope :
- Analyze user stories and oversee the translation of functional requirements into technical tasks.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture solutions.
- Optimize database schema design, queries, and application performance.
- Ensure robust documentation, comprehensive unit testing, and effective resolution of issues.
- Act as a mentor and guide to the development team, ensuring adherence to coding standards and promoting a culture of technical excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Actively participate in and lead all Agile ceremonies - daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, demos, and refinements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners (POs), developers, and other stakeholders to refine user stories and provide technical insights.
- Estimate user stories, allocate tasks, and guide team members during refinement and sprint planning.
- Implement user stories with clean, maintainable, and secure code.
- Design scalable and reliable architecture while ensuring adherence to security and performance benchmarks.
- Utilize tools such as SonarQube and Snyk to identify and resolve code vulnerabilities, technical debt, and code smells.
- Conduct and oversee thorough code reviews to maintain quality and enforce secure coding practices.
- Design and write comprehensive unit test cases to ensure high reliability and code coverage.
- Debug and resolve complex issues identified in QA, UAT, pre-production, and production environments.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability during hyper-care and beyond.
- Mentor team members, facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, and foster team development.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose their adoption when relevant.
- Lead strategies for code cleanup, performance optimization, and process improvements.

- Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with emerging technologies and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the application and development processes.
