Premas LifeSciences has been a market leader in the field of Genomics offering some of the most advanced technologies in India for past 18 years.

Premas is now looking at expanding its operations by setting a new division called Spectrum. Spectrums strategic focus is on offering cutting edge solutions to specifically serve the discerning Biopharma & Lifesciences market & have already partnered with some of the leading global brands like Horiba, Japan Olink( Thermo), Cytek , USA & Sphere Bio( UK) for exclusive representation in India.

Job Objective
Being a new division we are seeking dynamic and passionate leader in the field of sales, with a keen interest in the Biopharma/Lifesciences industry? As a National Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our organization, driving sales strategies and spearheading initiatives that expand our market presence. In this role, you will manage a talented team of Territory sales Managers , providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets while fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Your expertise will help us build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver outstanding solutions that enhance their success. We are looking for someone who can analyse market trends and develop innovative sales strategies that align with our business objectives. Primary Responsibilities

To achieve aggressive goals and objectives for continued growth, as a National Sales Manager, assigned responsibilities are as follows:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product, market, customer, and distribution channels in the territory. This would include analysing market trends, identifying potential customers, and understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Use this knowledge to develop a territory plan that outlines specific goals and objectives for growth. This plan would also include tactics for strengthening relationships with current customers and building new ones. Execute the territory plan by consistently communicating key company messages, using approved tactics to educate both new and existing customers about product benefits, and developing and delivering effective presentations that promotes our products.
  • Create an effective sales team at key strategic locations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with sub distributors, serving as their point of contact for pre-sales support issues, post-sales support issues, and status of complaints/problems. This would involve regular communication and follow-up to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Throughout the process, should utilize critical analysis and planning skills to review data, understand trends, and adjust tactics as necessary to achieve territory objectives.
  • Provide all necessary and requested field reports on a timely basis, including updates on sales activity, customer feedback, and market trends.


Education

  • MSc/MTech/PhD
  • MBA preferred

Experience

Requires minimum 10-15 years of work experience in sales and marketing

  • Experience in selling life science instruments and consumables
  • Sales experience of Biopharma market is preferred .
  • Channel partner management
  • Key account management
  • Ability to collaborate across different teams
  • Flexible to work across different time zones
