Role & responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Must have 1-2 years of extensive experience with AWS.
• Strong experience with microservices deployment using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferably).
• Hands-on experience with popular version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD tools like AWS DevOps services (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline etc.), Jenkins, Gitlab Pipeline, CircleCI etc.
• Experience with application integration services like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, SQS, SNS, SES, Step functions etc.
• Experience with CDN architecture and caching technique using AWS CloudFront, Akamai, Cloudflare or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining monitoring stacks on Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (Elastic Search, Logstash and Kibana) and AWS CloudWatch.
• Experience and knowledge of RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with configuration management and Infra-as-code implementation using CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Ansible.
• Possess good knowledge and hands on AWS networking and security services like VPC, VPN, NAT Gateways, IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Config, WAF & shield, AWS KMS
• Desirable experience setting up and deploying Data lake platform on AWS using S3, Glue, Athena, RedShift, Kinesis, EMR.
• Good communication skills. Ability to effectively works across teams, understand priorities and deliver quality business outcomes
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computing related discipline
• AWS Certification is a plus
• CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification.
