We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial compliance, and export-import regulations. This role will primarily support the accounts department in ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements, as well as assisting in monthly and yearly financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Assist Accounts Department: Provide support to the accounts team in various accounting tasks, including day-to-day book-keeping and maintenance of financial records. GST Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST returns, reconciliation of GST input/output, and ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations. Financial Compliance: Assist in ensuring timely compliance with monthly and yearly financial regulations, including Internal audits, GST audits and statutory filings. MIS Reporting: Prepare and assist in the creation of monthly and yearly Management Information System (MIS) reports that track key financial metrics, cash flow, and performance. Export/Import Compliance: Maintain awareness of export and import regulations, assist in DGFT compliance, and handle required documentation for international transactions. Advance Licensing: Assist in ensuring compliance with advance licensing procedures for imports/exports, including documentation and reporting. Forex Management: Help track forex transactions and ensure compliance with foreign exchange regulations, reporting on forex-related activities. Other Accounting Tasks: Support other accounting duties, such as preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end/year-end closures. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education requirements: CA or Qualified CS and Graduate (Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field) or any other suitable professional qualification. Professional Experience of 3 to 4 years in Accounts Department. Strong knowledge of Provisions of Income Tax, GST, and other relevant financial compliances. Familiarity with export-import regulations, including DGFT compliance and Advance Licensing procedures. Experience in MIS reporting and generating financial reports. Understanding of Forex regulations and reporting. Proficient in accounting software (ERP & Tally) and MS Excel (including basic formulas and financial functions). Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Good communication skills and ability to liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
