Job Title: Java Spring Boot & React JS FullStack Developer (Freelance, 36 Months)
Location: OnSite / Hybrid / Remote (USA & India)
Engagement Type: Freelance Contract (Immediate Start)
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable up to 6 Months)
Experience: 8+ Years in FullStack Development

Project Overview
You will join a crossfunctional delivery team responsible for developing a missioncritical web application. Your work will enable rapid feature releases to global users, ensuring reliability and performance under heavy load. This highvisibility project requires deep expertise in both backend and frontend technologies, as well as cloud deployment best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend (Java Spring Boot):
- Architect and implement microservices and RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot, ensuring modularity and maintainability.
- Develop robust data access layers with Spring Data JPA and optimize SQL queries for MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Enforce security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, rolebased access control) and implement caching strategies.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, unit testing (JUnit/Mockito), and debug production issues.
- Frontend (React JS):
- Build dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React JS, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
- Implement global state management with Redux (or Context API) and ensure smooth data flow between UI and backend.
- Integrate RESTful services, handle asynchronous data fetching, and manage routing with React Router.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver polished, accessible components that comply with WCAG standards.
- Cloud & DevOps:
- Design, deploy, and manage application infrastructure on AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, RDS) and/or Azure (App Services, Functions, Blob Storage).
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or ARM templates, and monitor application health using CloudWatch or Azure Monitor.
- Collaboration & Agile Practices:
- Participate in scrum ceremoniessprint planning, daily standups, retrospectivesand contribute to story grooming.
- Work closely with product managers to refine feature requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Mentor junior developers, share knowledge on best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Quality Assurance & Maintenance:
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and endtoend tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or Selenium.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards (SOLID principles, clean code).
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other production issues to ensure optimal user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
- 8+ years in fullstack development roles with substantial handson experience in Java Spring Boot and React JS.
- Demonstrated history of building and deploying microservices and singlepage applications in production environments.
- Technical Expertise:
- Java Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
- React JS, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- RESTful API design, JSON, WebSockets
- SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization
- AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, RDS) and/or Azure (App Services, Functions)
- CI/CD with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical problemsolving and debugging skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven ability to mentor and lead junior team members
- Selfmotivated, detailoriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
- Experience with GraphQL, RxJS, and Webpack
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (ELK stack, Prometheus)
- Previous work in BFSI or Healthcare domains
- Relevant certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer)
