Role & responsibilities for SAP ABAP HANA JD:
- Develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs including classical and interactive reports, ALV reports, BAPIs, BDCs, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
- Design and develop custom enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI, and Enhancement Framework.
- Work on interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData services.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure ABAP best practices and performance optimization.
- Debug and resolve issues in custom and standard SAP programs.
- Participate in end-to-end project activities: requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, and HR.
- Document technical designs and maintain coding standards.
