Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and manage MEP (Electrical) project execution from start to completion.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on technical and commercial aspects.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and resource planning for all MEP works.
- Monitor and control project progress against schedule and budget; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Review technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure standards are maintained.
- Manage project teams, assign responsibilities, and evaluate team performance.
- Lead project meetings, reporting, and documentation with stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Handle contractual claims, variations, and negotiations as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1015 years of proven experience in managing MEP projects with a focus on electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, LV/MV systems, fire alarm systems, BMS, and ELV systems.
- Excellent project planning skills and proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Solid understanding of MEP codes, standards, and local regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- High-rise residential and commercial buildings
- Hospitals, airports, or industrial facilities
- Infrastructure projects involving large-scale MEP works
