Job Description
Job Purpose:
The person would manage a team comprising Functional / Technical & Sr Technical /Functional Analysts supporting 4-5 applications of varying sizes.
The position would report to the Unit Head BSG and would have a team size of 6 directs reporting into the position.
The role is to handle the projects/enhancements/system issues while interacting with Business /Product/Operations/IT-Various Groups /Info Sec Group /Vendor stakeholders from Medium to Large complex areas /projects/issues.
1) Good functional knowledge of Any banking (e.g. Flex cube) application/product and experience in carrying out functional testing for Loan, Bills, LC, Deposits, CASA modules.
2) Project Management Manage all activities in a Software Project life cycle, most importantly requirement conceptualization, requirement documentation, review requirement, test cases scripting & execution and roll-out plan.
3) Vendor relationship Management.
4) Ensure that no business is lost due to application/functional/technical shortcomings.
5) Process Study and Streamlining, thereby rendering technology solutions to enhance process efficiency and quality.
6) Adhere to all compliances as per bank policies.

Requirement Review / Project Management
- Managing projects and team under him/ her for Requirement gathering, Documentation, test case preparation / testing, post-implementation support.
- Business Requirements Documentation / Review BRDs/Change requests.
- Review requirements from technical aspects.
- Regular review and status update
- Good functional knowledge of any banking application / product (e.g. Flex cube) and experience in carrying out functional testing for Loan, Bills, LC, Deposits, CASA modules.
Working with Vendor
- Evaluate the vendor efforts in terms of Tangible and Intangible benefits.
- Negotiation with vendor on efforts shared on Projects.
- Creation of project plan
- UAT test case finalization, data preparation
- UAT Test case execution / Signoffs
Process review& Vendor Management
- Carrying out Process review respective domain with BCU / Operation for Process and system improvement.
- Visit vendor for reviews & demonstration on product development & highlight deviation / observation so that same can be captured prior to UAT release.
- Follow up with Vendor for timely releases.
- Postproduction review.
- Payments , fund utilization details for reporting, PO issuance, Payment clearance

- Ensure that the team updates trackers/applications are updated in line with project status.
- Ensuring the review of DFD, application interfaces in line with Industry practice
- Ensuring that the internal compliances are complied with without any deviation/follow ups.
- Ensuring that the audit observations are addressed by the team in right spirit and closed within the agreed timelines.
- Ensure every infra managed are up to date regarding their license, patches, vendor support etc.
Managing Internal / External Entity
- Coordination with Audit (Internal / External) and ISG team to meet compliance.
Educational Qualifications
Key Skills
Graduation: BE / BTech / BSc. (Any Stream) / BCA
- Post-Graduation: MCA/M Tech Preferable
- Certifications: Other Graduates with NIIT / Tech. Institute / AGILE SCRUM / MCP Certification (Optional) / PMP
- In-depth knowledge of any core banking (e.g. Flex cube) product / application, and Basic knowledge of all the areas of the Business / Trade / Operations vertical.
