Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Primary skills :
- 10+ years of experience of testing complex systems and business flows
- Experience working with investment banks , with good knowledge of FX options business (Preferred) or any banking knowledge.
- Full understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
- Strong background in Testing Methodologies
- Test Analysis, Test Planning, ability to understand the requirements, Gap Analysis and Requirement mapping
- Pro-active approach to finding the gaps in the delivery and tests needed to make the delivery robust
- End-to-end testing: ability to design the tests with checks for various stages of data delivery
- Basic understanding of AI Driven Testing Approaches, tools , framework
- Coordinated releases testing and dependencies across teams.
- knowledge of various Test Analysis and design skills to analyze and perform Functional and Non-Functional tests
- Support to Automation (Identifying the Automation Candidate) and Devops team for environment stability
- Exposure to test management tools
- Able to troubleshoot failure scenarios , and find and fix root cause
- Experience in working with global teams and supporting the testing across multiple platforms
- Must be a great team player, self-learner, ability to take ownership of tasks and take them to closure
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
- Worked with agile SDLC and TDD methodologies, with Git/GitHub and continuous integration/deployment and testing by defining/scheduling GitLab pipelines
Secondary/Advantageous skills:
- Understand sense of urgency and worked on Front office area / Execution & Pricing module of any investment bank
- Ability to generate automation related reports for quick decisions with stakeholders
- Experience of working in Agile teams
- Define and design solution for repeated tasks and developing tool to minimize manual task.
- Good to have knowledge on AI which help in understand business cases and adding in testing scenarios.
