Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience and expertise in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, Azure Active Directory, Azure Infrastructure, Cloud Security, AIP/DLP, Windows Autopilot, Hybrid Azure AD, and SCCM. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and seamless operation of our organization's cloud and endpoint environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.
Key Skills & Expertise:
1 Microsoft 365 Admin Centre
2 Microsoft Intune (including application packaging: IntuneWin, MSI, EXE)
3 Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
4 Group Policy (GPO) and Windows Autopilot
5 SCCM: OSD creation, application packaging/deployment
6 Azure Infrastructure: Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
7 Hybrid Azure AD and Azure AD Connect configuration
8 Expertise in Microsoft 365 Migration
9 Proficiency in managing Microsoft SharePoint
10 Hands-on experience managing On-Premises Environments (PDC & ADC)
Responsibilities:
1. Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender solutions to secure endpoints organization-wide.
2. Design and implement Intune policies for enforcing security standards, compliance, and device management policies.
3. Collaborate with teams to develop endpoint security strategies aligned with industry best practices.
4. Monitor and analyze security alerts from Intune and Defender, identifying and mitigating threats.
5. Conduct regular endpoint security assessments to ensure compliance with policies.
6. Develop and maintain documentation for Intune and Defender configurations, including best practices and procedures.
7. Provide technical support for Intune and Defender-related troubleshooting.
8. Stay updated with trends in endpoint security, recommending proactive enhancements.
9. Participate in incident response, coordinating resolution and preventive measures.
10. Lead projects related to endpoint security, device management, and system integration.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience: 2+ years'
3. Technical Expertise:
-In-depth understanding of endpoint security, antivirus, anti-malware, and intrusion detection/prevention.
-Proficient in managing Windows endpoints using Intune for device enrollment, application deployment, and compliance policies.
-Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint for threat detection and response.
-Working knowledge of SCCM and other Microsoft security/compliance tools is advantageous.
4. Preference will be given to candidates who have a certifications like Microsoft Certified: Intune or Microsoft Certified: Defender ATP etc.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with stakeholders.
6. Ability to manage tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
