Experience - 5 - 8 years
Location - Hyderabad / Bengaluru
Work Mode - C andidates have to work in EST/ CST time zones i.e., preferably night shift.
Candidate can be someone with Java as primary & some Python/Ruby or viceversa..
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend systems and APIs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance platform functionality.
- Optimize database performance and handle large-scale data management.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to align data architecture with UI needs.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, and debugging practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Java.
- Expertise in API design (REST and GraphQL).
- Strong knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB/MongoDB.
- Familiarity with secrets management tools like HashiCorp Vault.
- Strong debugging, testing, and performance tuning skills.
Software Engineer Inspectors
Liongard is the leading Attack Surface Management platform designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT Service Providers. Liongard protects the attack surface of over 70,000 end customers by providing complete visibility into all IT assets. With over 80 integrations, Liongard empowers MSPs to Client and inventory cyber assets, automate documentation, identify misconfigurations, and ensure cyber insurance defensibility. By transforming how MSPs manage IT, Liongard enables them to operate more efficiently, deliver cyber resilience at scale, and fuel business growth.
Job Summary
You will help our engineering organization maintain and extend our inspectors, which collect configuration data from over 80 different IT systems and report that data back to our platform. Our inspectors are written in Typescript, and interact with some of the most widely used APIs in the world like the Microsoft Graph, the Domain Name System, Amazon Web Services, Google Workspace, etc.
Requirements
High level of competency in TypeScript, Node.js, consuming REST APIs, and writing automated tests.
Experience with development tools such as the following: git, any code review tool, continuous integration, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and customer service and interpersonal skills.
Experience with general IT Infrastructure or Managed Service Providers is a plus.
Experience .NET, C# is a plus.
Activities
Contribute readable, maintainable, and performant code to our existing codebases.
Participate in code reviews with other members of the development team.
Work with the Product team to solidify and validate requirements.
Work with the Support team to triage and resolve production problems.
Debug and determine root causes for customer issues in the field, clearly communicating resolutions and workarounds to the Support team.
