Embedded Linux Engineer ( 5+ Years Exp ) @ Ispecia Technologies

Job Description

We are looking for experienced software developers who are passionate about Linux/Android-based platform development and optimization. What You'll Do Develop drivers and enable new hardware for Linux, Android, or RTOS. Integrate software into build systems. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Act as a Linux expert for the customer engineering team, including kernel, CPU architecture, and device drivers. Backport features or bug fixes for customers" distribution or kernel. Solve technical challenges by providing the right solutions. Mentor and advise team members on best practices. Requirements Experience: 6-11+ years in embedded systems development with Linux. Skills: Proficiency in C, Git, and build environments like Yocto, Buildroot, or OpenEmbedded. Expertise in kernel-level performance optimization and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics. Strong knowledge of SoC, Linux software, tools, and applications. Excellent communication skills and multitasking ability. Proven track record of leading projects and resolving technical issues. Strong commitment to quality and results-driven. Bonus Skills (Ways To Stand Out) Experience with Linux device drivers and bootloaders. Open-source community contributions. Hands-on experience in build environments like Yocto, Buildroot, or Android. Familiarity with system performance tools (profilers and tracers). Experience in real-time operating systems. Scripting with Python, Bash, or similar. Debugging embedded devices using oscilloscopes. Knowledge of security features like SELinux, verified boot, or trusted execution environments.
