Sales Manager Business Loans (Direct Selling Team Experience)

Regional Sales Head / Area Sales Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our Business Loans division, specifically managing and expanding a Direct Selling Team (DST). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business loan sales, team management, and a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets through direct channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of DST executives focused on sourcing business loans.
    • Monitor daily performance, provide regular coaching, and ensure achievement of team targets.
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Drive business loan sales through DST channels by targeting SMEs, MSMEs, and corporate clients.
    • Identify new market opportunities and create strategies to penetrate potential segments.
  • Lead Management:
    • Ensure the effective management and conversion of leads generated through various sources.
    • Guide the team on sourcing quality leads and maintaining a healthy pipeline.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Act as a point of escalation for client queries and problem resolution.
  • Compliance and Process Adherence:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, credit norms, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate MIS and reports regarding team performance, pipeline, and closures.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Regularly review and analyze team performance metrics.
    • Implement action plans to address performance gaps.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 36 years of experience in Business Loans sales.
    • Mandatory experience in Direct Selling Team (DST) management.
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree required; MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Finance preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • Ability to drive sales through structured processes and strategies.
    • In-depth knowledge of business loan products, credit evaluation, and financial documentation.
  • Other Requirements:
    • High levels of self-motivation and resilience.
    • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
