Job Description
The Purchase Executive in the interior field is responsible for sourcing and procuring interior materials, furniture, fixtures, and fittings required for interior design and fit-out projects. This role demands strong vendor management, negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of materials commonly used in interior projects to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source vendors for materials
- Raise purchase orders and ensure material availability as per project timelines.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Follow up on orders and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Maintain updated records of purchases, delivery notes, and invoices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any field.
- 2-4 years of experience in purchasing within the interior design or fit-out industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel.
