Job Description
- Shipment Management: Tracking, coordinating, and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimizing warehouse operations, logistics routes, and processes to reduce costs .
- Documentation: Preparing and verifying shipping documents for exports/imports and maintaining accurate records.
- Stakeholder Communication: Managing relationships with carriers, suppliers, and clients.
- Inventory Control: Managing daily warehouse activities, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Problem Solving: Resolving issues in real-time, such as delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies.
A Logistics Operations Executive manages day-to-day supply chain activities, including coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries. They liaise between vendors, carriers, and internal teams, optimize routes, handle documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
