Job Description

A Principal Lead project Management Tech
is a member of the project management team who supports program managers/CDOs and acts as a liaison between various teams ensuring smooth project execution within set timelines. This role requires effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination

  • Project Scope Definition: Develop a detailed project plan outlining the scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the project budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and any variances are addressed promptly.
  • Schedule Development: Create and maintain the project schedule, coordinating with vendor partners, cross commit teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Resource Allocation: Plan and allocate resources to ensure efficient project execution.

Team Management

  • Staffing: Assemble and manage a project team, including Software engineering leads, developers, QE and subcontractors.
    leadership and direction to the project team, addressing any issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and US leaders to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.

Risk Management

  • Risk Identification: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project, including financial, compliance, and operational risks.
  • Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and handle unforeseen issues.
  • Contingency Planning: Prepare contingency plans to address potential problems and minimize disruptions.

Required Qualifications :

  • 10+ years experience in software based solutions.
  • Hands on experience as project manager or project coordinator for software based solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to clearly articulate concepts and rationale.
  • Must possess a solid understanding of digital technologies and best practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Certification: PMP.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills to engage team, facilitate discussion, mentor team members and resolve conflict.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams.
