Job Description

A.S. Group is currently hiring for one of the Manufacture Pharma Equipment Industry located in Vasai

Job Details are as follows:-

Designation: Design Engineer

Location: Vasai

Experience: 3.years

Salary Range: .40k

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed layouts in Solid Works and Auto CAD based on inputs from Designers/ Analysts/ Project engineers.
2. Prepare detail drawings of assemblies, machined parts and weldments
3. Check interfaces and tolerances to ensure compliance with customer requirements
4. Create and maintain a library of standard parts, product models and drawings
5. Maintain an accurate record of the work performed in company timesheet regularly

6. Responsible for making excel planning sheet after the completion of detailed drawings.

7. Co-ordination with purchase and stores dept. for planning related challenges.

8. Coordinating with projects department for job requirements and modifications as per customer requirements.

9. Co-ordination with onsite teams for design related data.

10.Co-ordination with vendors regarding technical clarifications if any.

11. Execution.- Responsible for timely completion of jobs as per scheduling and forecasting. Working

in cross functional roles

 

MAIN PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF JOB:

Responsible for making GA layout, P&ID, SLD and detailed drawings. Using computer aided software AutoCAD and solid works for equipment designing and detailing. Performing design calculations

Helping in achieving standardization objectives .updating as-built drawings. Guiding new joinees

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

Minimum Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering

 

EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 8 -10 years of practical modeling and drafting experience in Engineering /Design / R & D / Product Development environment.
Manufacturing experience with an emphasis on design for manufacturability is desirable.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Should be highly proficient with AutoCAD and Solid Works (Part, Assembly, Weldment, Drawings
modules)
Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Should have knowledge of manufacturing process including machining, welding and GD &T
