Monitor all the configured components on the network dashboard.
Rapidly responding to all alerts, restoring or escalating Incident/Outage (SEV0, SEV1) issues as per established SLAs
Facilitate technical/crisis management conference calls during Major ILL/NLD Link outages with concerned ISPs and Internal stakeholders.
Tracking and following up on major incidents/Outages for restoration of the ILL/NLD links and RFO for the related issue.
Reporting/Escalating Link issues through monitoring systems or Triggered Alerts and ISPs Helpdesk Portal
Participate in planned activities of DCs.
Assist DevOps and Infrastructure Engineering teams in break fixes.
Observe and report traffic and alert patterns.
Identify the scope of automating manual work.
Facilitate technical/crisis management conference calls during production outages, providing written and verbal updates in a timely and consistent manner.
Track all planned and unplanned Systems & Applications outages through trouble ticketing systems and reporting tools.
Participate in change management and post-mortem process to ensure operational consistency and service improvement.
Qualifications:
One plus years with NOC Operational Support on Basic Data Centre Environment
Working Knowledge and experience with Operations Support and Escalations, Change Management, Cisco, Juniper, Basic Networking Skills, and Enterprise monitoring tools.
Working knowledge in Linux and UNIX administration.
Working knowledge of scripting language - bash or Python or Perl or PHP
Knowledge on database
Ability to multi-task and work during production crisis situations
Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication.
Excellent multitasking skills and communication skills - both verbal and written.
