Job Description
Role: Clinical Product Manager Symptom Checker
Data science and engineering has the potential to fundamentally transform the clinical delivery of healthcare. If you are unclear on what that could mean, then this role is not for you.
Do you think Framingham study can be re-visualized for the modern age by leveraging tens of millions of data points? Do you think one can extract various chronic care pathways at scale by accessing the work done by the Doctor community in India? If you think you can, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you have the responsibility figure out the incremental clinical product roadmap while keeping in mind the larger vision. You should know that mountains are moved by carrying one stone at a time and you need to figure out what users would find valuable along the way.
You should be a strong Medical Doctor who understands the as is scenario and can visualize the future possibilities. Years of experience, etc not a criteria. The role can scale up based on what value the candidate can bring to the table.
We at Apollo247 believe that healthcare delivery can be fundamentally transformed by the use of technology and data analytics. This could be in the form of ability to augment Doctors to provide care at scale or by helping Doctors see previously unseen patterns in care delivery, by launching personalised insurance products that can drastically improve access, etc.
What you would do
- Help define product vision and associated roadmap
- Work with engineering team to translate the roadmap into a working product.
Prioritize features / develop product launch plans with program manager. Work with engineering to do the appropriate tradeoff between technical designs and business requirements.
- Work with business teams to position the product for various market segments What skills you will have
- MBBS/MS/MD or equivalent clinical degree
- 8+ years of relevant clinical experience
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- 5 years+ of product management or product design experience is a plus
- Startup experience a big plus
