The role revolves around the whole cycle of sales beginning from tracking opportunities to client signup and covers reporting to senior management and data management. This will involve getting significant exposure to the overall business acumen around sales.

Role specific skillsets:

  • Role involves critical aspects of meticulous tracking of leads, driving leads to the next stage, scheduling activities, contract management and handover activities.
  • Ability to work around business/sales CRMs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point presentation etc.
  • Ability to analyze data and arrive at meaningful conclusions/summary
  • Know-how of creating a Data Base and knows-how of sourcing data from various data bases
  • Strong skill in multi-tasking, follow-up and tracking
  • Holding reporting requirements independently

Candidature Requirements

1. Graduate Mandatory (Any field)

2. Post Graduate (Non-mandatory) MBA/PGDM (Tier-2) - Sales/Marketing

3. Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience,

  • Areas Sales and Marketing
  • Roles Holding leads lifecycle, reporting, holding CRM sales data
  • Relevant Industries BPO, BPM, Business Consulting, IT/Software, Technology, other industries would also be fine but specifically services.

Expected Business Skill Sets

1. Competency Level in MS Office Suite:

  • MS Excel Intermediate to Advanced Competency
  • The candidate must be well-versed with formulae, short-cuts, pivots, working on complex models and working on large multi-tab spreadsheets. VBA/Macros is good to know, not mandatory.
  • It is expected that the resource will be able to work on MS Excel at a considerably above-average speed.
  • MS PowerPoint Intermediate to Advanced Competency
  • The candidate must be able to prepare quality presentations.
  • Adept at using smart-arts and icons.
  • It is expected that the resource will be able to work on MS PowerPoint at a considerably above-average speed.
  • MS Word Intermediate to Advanced Competency
  • The candidate is expected to prepare approach notes, questionnaires, and proposals

2. Communication:

  • Demonstrate ability to interact professionally with internal teams via phone, email, tele/video conferencing.
  • Provide accurate and timely information as required to the sales team and senior management.
  • Communicate independently with internal teams and stakeholders for various requirements.

  • Advanced Proficiency in English language spoken and written
  • Effective business communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative and a good attitude to learn more about the business and industry
  • Personal Drive, positive work ethics and ability to deliver within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
  • Self Drive and able to work independently

  • Cooperation One must ensure completion of all tasks at hand and simultaneously extends support to team members and displays joint ownership towards achieving business objectives the focus is on TEAMWORK
  • Communication/Feedback Should believe in providing feedback to other associates and receiving feedbacks to enhance performance, thereby meeting business objectives the focus is on OPEN COMMUNICATION
