Job Description

Experience Level: 8-10 Years
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Portfolio Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting financials, and excellent report-building skills. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Project, as well as exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with executives and program managers.
Key
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Financial Management: Track and report on budgets, forecast financials, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Reporting: Create and present comprehensive reports to executives, providing insights and updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with executives, program managers, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and assist mitigate risks and issues across the portfolio to ensure successful program and project delivery.
  • Tracking Mechanisms: Develop and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor progress across multiple programs and projects.
  • : Work closely with program managers to ensure portfolio goals are met and resources are effectively utilized.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years minimum experience in portfolio management.
  • 8-10 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience managing technology infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent report-building and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and other stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop tracking mechanisms and manage multiple programs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a similar industry or sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
