Technical Manager @ ThoughtFocus

Job Description

• Act as a servant leader and coach for one or more Agile development teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Grooming ,Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Facilitate the Deployment release activities plan with Product owner and Development team
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a clear and well-defined product backlog and for PI Planning
• Guide teams in Agile best practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum/Kanban principles.
• Identify and remove impediments, fostering a high-performing Agile environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, DevOps, and architects.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and delivery excellence.
• Monitor and report team performance metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.).
• Support adoption of Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
• Advocate for technical excellence, ensuring DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud best practices are followed.
• Manage dependencies and coordinate with other teams for seamless integration.

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Technical background in software development, cloud, DevOps, or CI/CD.
• Familiarity with microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and API development.
• Strong understanding of Agile engineering practices (TDD, BDD, automation testing).
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in scaled Agile environments is a plus.

• Experience working in Payment Software domains.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Background in coding or scripting (.Net, React, Angular.) is a plus.
• Exposure to AI/ML, IoT, Blockchain, or emerging tech trends.
