Job Description

  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events
What you'll do:
  • Develops and champions a world class product vision and strategy for a product team managing multiple products.
  • Own Product Requirement Documents and drive product capabilities and roadmap with very minimal supervision and guidance
  • Engage with Data Science and Business stakeholders to prioritize capabilities that will deliver highest business value
  • Drives the execution of multiple projects in an Agile Environment for Product Management including product requirements.
  • Ensures alignment of product vision, strategy, and status with the executive leadership teams priorities and vision as we'll as team s stakeholders, Ensures business needs are being met
  • Partner very closely with High Performing Engineering teams to ensure we are building scalable software products that meets customer needs and on time with quality.
  • Be technically savvy to build and grow technical platforms and products as we'll as contribute to engineering conversations priorities in a scrappy, ambiguous start-up environment
  • Be an advocate of metric/data-based decision making, willing and eager to do detailed analysis to refine the point of view.
  • Promotes and supports mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
What you'll bring:
  • You come with 8+ years of product management experience. Experience of 4+ years of building data science/AI/ML products is preferred.
  • Experience with eCommerce or internet-based products or support services is a plus.
  • Experience in supply chain management with focus on Forecasting and/or Inventory management.
  • Ability to drive insights from data to influence business process and product features.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Uncompromising commitment to the customer.
  • Ability to drive teams toward a shared vision with velocity and possess an indomitable bias toward action in the face of ambiguity.
  • Willingness to be bold - be undeterred by organizational obstacles and with a High tolerance for risk / low fear of failure.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills and the ability to interact with executive level business and technical partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to champion product solutions throughout the organization.
  • Advanced/ masters degree in engineering or management is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications...
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor of Science and 5 years product management experience OR Master of Science and 2 years product management experience.
