Senior Engineer @ Luxoft

Job Description

• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Bash, Perl, and Python.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize file system and data archiving workflows.
• Collaborate with other teams to improve and streamline operational processes.
• Maintain existing backup automation infrastructure.
• Create clear and reusable documentation for all developed scripts and processes.

Skills

Must have

• Strong hands-on experience with Bash and either Perl or Python.
• Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools.
• Experience in troubleshooting system and scripting issues.
• Nice to have
• Experience with IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) or similar enterprise backup/archive solutions.
• Object storage systems (eg, HCP, S3).
• Experience working in enterprise environments with change management processes.IBM Certified Administrator
• Tivoli Storage Manager V6 or above is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation (understanding of change management, CAB, etc).
