Job Description
Post- Medical Officer (MBBS Doctor)
Project: Gail Arogya.
Location: Kheonjhar- Odisha

Roles & Responsibilities:
a. Coordinate development of route plan for the MMU
b. Provide preventive, promotive and curative health care and referral services to patients during MMU-OPDs and thematic health camps
c. Document and maintain health records of patients as per project requirement
d. Utilize, supervise and manage stock of medicines, healthcare products and reagents for regular MMU services and thematic health camps
e. Supervise safe disposal of biomedical wastes
f. Liaise and interact with other medical, non-medical staff, govt. health department officials and community members and create and maintain positive image of the organization and donor for the services delivered
g. Network with other medical professionals/ specialists in and around GAIL Projects and solicit their support as and when need arises
h. Encourage health literacy amongst the target audience
i. Supervise functions and quality of services of the MMU technical team
j. Provide regular need-based technical training to MMU team
MBBS with Minimum 1-2 Yrs Experience with strong public health care skills (Fresher can also apply)
Qualification
Relevant MBBS degree of recognized University.
Medical Officer should has a professional degree (MBBS), registered with Medical Council of India, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience (or a retired active MBBS doctor) with strong public health care skills (Fresher can also apply).
About Project:
HLFPPT shall be taking care of all the patients & provide Primary Healthcare, responsive to the needs of the people in the target villages around GAIL projects/stations.
The basic objective is to provide Primary Healthcare, responsive to the needs of the people in the target villages around GAIL projects/stations.
Provide Primary Healthcare, responsive to the needs of the people in the target villages around GAIL installations or areas specified by GAIL. Providing of basic free healthcare services to under privileged segment with limited access to the established Public Health Care system through Mobile Medical Units (i.e. MMUs). The MMUs shall be fully equipped in accordance with prescribed medical standards and shall attend to the basic and first-aid medical needs of the beneficiary patients. To provide referral linkage to appropriate higher medical care facilities in the vicinity. To conduct Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) and Behavior Change Communication (BCC) to generate awareness on health and health related issues
