Job Title: Domestic Air Freight Sales Executive (Door-to-Door Services) Job Summary: The Domestic Air Freight Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the customer base for domestic air freight (Door-to-Door) services. This role requires the development and execution of sales strategies, meeting or exceeding revenue targets, and building strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in domestic air freight, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market reach in the domestic air freight sector. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends and competitors. Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and acquire new clients while managing relationships with existing customers. Lead Generation & Conversion: Generate leads and convert prospects into customers through targeted approaches, presentations, and negotiations. Tailored Solutions: Engage with customers to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored air freight solutions. Sales Cycle Management: Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring profitability targets are met. Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure deals that align with company objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction. Customer Issue Resolution: Address any customer issues promptly to ensure high service satisfaction and repeat business. Sales Performance Tracking: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics and revenue forecasts. Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, identifying areas for improvement and adjustments in strategy. Client Retention: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Compliance: Ensure all sales activities and client interactions are documented and comply with company policies and industry regulations. Revenue & Profitability Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue and profitability targets. Upselling & Cross-Selling: Implement client retention strategies and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services. Feedback to Management: Provide feedback to management on service and product improvements based on client feedback and market demands. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems. Reporting to Senior Management: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in sales within the logistics industry, preferably in domestic air freight (D2D). Skills: Strong understanding of the domestic air freight industry and logistics solutions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in D2D domestic air freight. Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
