Role & responsibilities :
- Set goals and objectives for the stores section in consultation with Head of SCM Department/ Administration Manager at facility. Act as a second line in the absence of Sr. Executive-Materials.
- Co-ordinates with user departments to arrive at minimum and maximum stock levels and records stock level for each item.
- Consolidate indents from the entire hospital & give consolidated requirement in form of indents to purchase conidering the lead time & stock in hand. Co-ordinate with purchasers & end users to minimize the lead time required in arranging all Hospital Supplies.
- Co-ordinate with Purchase and Accounts Department to ensure timely communication of any discrepancies/damages
- Organises and oversees timely receiving, proper stocking/ arranging & issuing of all the items received at stores with prompt & proper recordkeeping of SIB, GRN, Issue Notes, Gate Passes etc. in ERP.
- Effects a perpetual inventory control system by incorporating ROQ, ROL, Maximum, Minimum & Safety Stock in ERP..
- Monitors consumption of A,B,& C categorises of items and advises Materials Manager regarding unusual consumption patterns.
- By periodic FSN Analysis, monitors slow moving and non-moving items with a view to minimize obsolescence and deterioration /loss due to expiry period of products.
- Ensure proper security of all the stores items and acts as a custodian of Hospital Stores.
- Co-ordinates with purchase & user departments for conversion of stockable medical store items to consignment one.
- Ensures and overseas maintenance of records and reports involved in stores operations. Carry out physical varification of stocks to tally with the systems, on periodic intervals as advised by the management.
Monitors the consignment item module in ERP & inventory of consignment
