Job Description
We are looking for Plant Head or BU Head for Bhiwadi / Gurgaon / Neemrana location with minimum of 8+ years of experience as Plant Head With Strong experience in LPDC and GDC commodities or complex manufacturing process industry experience would be more suitable for the this position.
This position will be responsible for handling the Foundry division of upcoming Plant. Since this position will be acting as plant head, hence the exposure of Machining is also mandatory to handle the overall operations of Plant :
- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Relevant exposure of LPDC and GDC Foundry technology to manage the large setup of Foundry Operations to ahcieve the Production volume as per Business targets.
- Developing and Managing various plan and strategies to meet customer & Business expectations in terms of Safety, Quality, Prouductivity, Cost, Delivery and Emplyee Morale.
- Coordinate team activities to optimize cost performance of the plant through optimizing Inventory, Mfg Variable cost, variable personal cost and Overhead cost etc.
- Involvement in New product Launch and start of mass production of New Product.
- Budget preparation and ensure to maintain daily consumable issue from store plan Vs. Actual
- Rejection model wise analysis and dycote application & system implemented
- Output and Metal loss monitoring month wise as per standard requirement of the process.
- Ensure Adherance to defined process standards (Ex. Control Plan, OGS, WI etc.)
- Analysis of Internal Qaulity Issues w.r.t. Mfg. and timely closur of QPR.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (such as customers and govt. authorities) to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations and lead negotiations with workers/unions on issues like collective bargaining, wage settlement etc.
- Engage with larger employee group to align all stakeholders on matters related to plant operations
- Provide support in recruitment, training and development of plant employees
- Supervise direct and indirect reports and prepare them for higher roles in the organisation
- Process improvement, Equipment improvement and introduction of new technology to reduce rejection / rework and to increase productivity
- Development / selection / erection / commissioning / prove out of foundry hardware (shot sleeves, pouring ladles, skimmers, non-standard consumables etc.) and procurement through Purchase
- Implementation of Various Improvement Projects for reduction in Cycle time.
- New innovation and kaizen implemented related safety & cost / productivity
- Ensure various std. complience on shop floor (Eg IATF/ISO14001/45001, IR, Employee Engagement, EHS etc.)
- Skill upgradation and Multiskilling for the Associates through Training cell
- Zero Accident -Ensure safe work / safety on shop floor
Desired Candidate Profile:
15+ Years of Experience in the similar process related to LPDC and GDC Casting / Foundry / Machine Engineering with complete knowldege of Foundry and Machining operations of Casting Business in Auto Comp / Auto Sector.
