- Job Title: Hardware and Networking Executive Job Location: Surat Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hardware and Networking Executive to manage our IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, and provide technical support to both office staff and traders. The ideal candidate will have experience in server management, network troubleshooting, and supporting office systems in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Server Management: Manage the existing servers (rack servers, tower servers, AIO systems) and ensure they are running efficiently. New Server Creation: Set up and configure new servers based on the company's needs and specifications. Trading Desk Support: Ensure that all trading desk systems are functional and provide support to traders as required. Office Systems Management: Manage and maintain office systems for employees to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Network Troubleshooting: Resolve any network-related issues, including connectivity, performance, and infrastructure concerns. Client Issue Resolution: Provide timely and effective solutions to clients facing issues with the companys products or services. Inventory Management: Oversee and manage IT inventory across Surat, Malad, and Goregaon offices, ensuring accurate logs of all hardware. Server Inventory Tracking: Maintain and track the Talk Office and Talk Options server inventory. General Office IT Operations: Assist with any IT-related office work and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. Traders" Technical Support: Address and resolve any technical problems faced by traders to ensure they can perform without interruption. Required Knowledge & Skills: 1. Server & System Management: Experience with Rack Servers, Tower Servers, and AIO Systems. Strong knowledge in configuring and maintaining server hardware and software. 2. Database Management: Familiarity with SQL Server and MariaDB, focusing on troubleshooting and maintenance. 3. Networking: Knowledge in managing manageable routers, manageable switches, and other network devices. Understanding of broadband, leased line, VPN, FTP, and broadcast leased line connections. 4. Daily Monitoring & Support: Perform BOD & EOD processes for server and system checks. Log in to all mini admin accounts and monitor all systems regularly. Monitor network performance and address issues such as downtime, slow connectivity, or performance glitches. Resolve trader issues related to system malfunctions, connectivity, or other technical challenges. Prepare Brokers CF position reports and back up admin trade files on a regular basis. Provide solutions to client issues in a timely manner. Daily Necessary Tasks: Ensure proper BOD & EOD processes are followed and completed. Monitor and maintain servers and other IT systems to ensure smooth operations. Resolve network issues and ensure uninterrupted connectivity for all office systems. Provide on-demand technical support for traders, addressing any issues that arise. Prepare and update Broker CF position reports and backup admin trade files regularly. Resolve client-related issues, ensuring satisfaction and minimal downtime. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in hardware management, networking, and IT support. Hands-on experience with servers, networking devices, and troubleshooting office systems. Basic knowledge of SQL Server and MariaDB is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and provide solutions on time. Previous experience in a trading or financial environment is an advantage.
