Job Description

    Job Purpose The Senior Programme Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Associate Director, CAS, in building a robust and impactful career advisory and professional development function for the schools PGP and PGP YL students. The incumbent will lead efforts to integrate placement activities across both campuses while supporting student and recruiter engagement at the Mohali campus. This role combines programme management, technology-driven innovation, and data-driven reporting to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of career services at the School. Job Outline Key Responsibilities: Programme Management: Collaborate with internal and external coaches to deliver basic career advisory services for PGP and PGP YL students. Co-develop and execute Professional Development Plans with partners, tailored to the unique needs of PGP and PGP YL cohorts. Engage student professional clubs to capitalize on opportunities, resources, and industry engagement for placement success. Impart industry awareness and role-specific knowledge to students to prepare them for interviews and career success. Act as a key bridge between ISB, students, and recruiters, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication across stakeholders. Student Engagement: Establish meaningful and impactful student engagement by collaborating with professional clubs and delivering high-quality career advisory services. Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for students regarding all placement matters, ensuring they are well-informed about recruiter roles, processes, and expectations. Ensure students are adequately prepared for interviews by facilitating access to relevant resources and opportunities. Technology and Knowledge Management: Develop tools to capture and analyze the summary and impact of coaching conversations at ISB. Adopt a data-driven approach to career advisory, generating periodic reports on advisory interventions. Build mechanisms to consolidate and analyze insights from pre-placement talks and recruiter engagements. Create and maintain data for CAS initiatives, ensuring meaningful and relevant information is transferred to stakeholders. Drive follow-ups for qualitative and quantitative data from relevant stakeholders. Recruiter Engagement: Ensure a positive experience for visiting recruiters by managing logistics and interactions during campus visits and flagship events. Collaborate with the Corporate Business Development team to explore and implement new avenues of recruiter engagement. Collaboration and Operations: Work closely with the Corporate Business Development and Program Management teams to execute leadership sessions, PPTs, and other key placement activities. Ensure smooth logistics and operations during structured placement days, maintaining fairness and adherence to student placement policies. Collaborate effectively with other student-facing departments to ensure seamless support for student success. Evaluation Metrics: Effectiveness of programme management. Quality of engagement with student clubs, students and recruiters. Smooth execution of structured placement days and operational processes. Timeliness and accuracy of data reporting and stakeholder communication. Level of collaboration and synergy established across CAS and other departments. Required Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a dynamic environment.
