Senior DevOps Engineer / Software Engineering @ Premier Consultants

Job Description

Senior DevOps Engineer / Software Engineering with Leading Logistics Company.

Location : Mumbai

Essential responsibilities and duties:

• Designing effective and thorough best practices Creating appropriate DevOps channels
• Introduce fresh methods and industry standards that result in better software solutions.
• Assess emerging technologies for integration into software products in development.
• Create and develop web, web services, and back-end applications utilising Microsoft and open-source technology stacks, such as C#,.NET Core, Kafka, Couchbase, and Elasticsearch.
• Participate in the study and analysis of design documentation, functional specifications, and business needs; facilitate project post-mortems.
• Offer suggestions for new software, programme updates, and architectural designs.
• Implement and enhance monitoring and notification.
• Construct and manage highly available systems and perform container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
• By locating and diagnosing software errors, support software infrastructure.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps in a CI/CD environment
• Experience on Cloud Native apps (Docker/Containers) is mandatory
• Proficient in building and maintaining toolchains.
• Significant version control experience (Git preferred)
• Experience with GCP, VMware, or similar virtualization technologies
• Experience in build and release engineering through complete mobile, web, and backend infrastructure product cycles.
• Intermediate/advance knowledge on any one of the programming languages such as C#, Java or Python.
