Andor Tech is currently hiring for MSSQL DBA for an MNC, kindly find the JD below Client location: Bangalore Remote/ Hybrid Job Title: MS SQL Database Administrator Job Description: skills Requirements 5+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required Should have good experience in T-SQL scripting Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement. Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools Experience with backups, restores and recovery models Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams. Responsibilities: Understanding the process of resolving a query or incidents Troubleshooting databases accessibility, availability or operability problems. Configure and manage automation of tasks Excellent performance tuning and optimization skills. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems. Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements Ability to work under pressure, handle complex change and prioritize key activities.
