Ltd. 3 - 15 Years INR 0.5 - 1.5 LPA India Job Description As a Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical database systems to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our companys applications. You will also participate in the planning and development of the databases, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise. Responsibilities: 1. Install, configure, and maintain database servers. 2. Manage and monitor database performance, ensuring optimal performance and availability. 3. Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability. 4. Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. 6. Collaborate with developers to design and optimize database schema and queries. 7. Perform database upgrades and migrations as required. 8. Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures. 9. Stay current with the latest database technologies and best practices. Requirements 1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2. Proven work experience as a Database Administrator. 3. Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc. 4. Proficiency in database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, security management, and performance tuning. 5. Experience with database monitoring and troubleshooting tools. 6. Familiarity with database design and optimization techniques. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
