    Assistant Manager: Governance and Assurance Purpose of the role The operating model of our client is designed to provide more value-added services to its customer. The Purpose of this role is to ensure: effective governance and compliance of group level policies and standards related to risk and compliance across all the supplier partners engage and liase with key stakeholders and operational leads To assist management in the identification of strategic, tactical, and operational business risks To provide objective assessment of the effectiveness of IT/Operational controls over identified risks To provide advice and share best industry good practices in support of business objectives. Context of the Role Reports to Outsource Risk Transformation Lead The span covers our client's owned & entire offshore operations managed by the supplier partners. Has bandwidth and competencies to independently manage business assurance checks and audits. Multi-tasking, effective and quality service delivery Helps the manager to take decisions regarding the priorities and scope of agreed work within allocated business areas. Accountabilities Responsible for all Risk and Compliance activity for our clients's operations Manage Internal and External Audits from Risk and Compliance perspective. Hands-on experience on IT/Operational Control testing and assurance Provide assurance that IT/ Operational controls over key risks operate as per requirement. Facilitate delivery of BU offshoring plans from R&C perspective wherever required. Identify, manage, escalate issues and risks to Business Units and Groups as appropriate. Positive formal post-project feedback from client and project team. Quality of deliverable on assigned reviews and scope areas, requiring minimal reworking before sign-off. Ensure that risk profiles owned and maintained by the business is updated. Quality of the evidence to support findings and withstand challenge. Clearly demonstrates behaviour and attitude which contributes towards Group Audit achieving its vision.
