Job Description

  • Act as the single Point of contact for Supply Chain team to the Bangalore factory
  • Interact with Schneider manufacturing plants and sub-contractors to provide delivery commitment
  • Understands the overall SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process and the different planning processes associated: Collaborative Sales Forecast / Distribution Requirement Planning / Production Planning / Vendor Planning / Inventory Planning
  • Understands the roles and responsibilities of demand planners, supply planners, production planners
  • Working with Supply Chain Manger on monthly forecasting activity and plant loading
  • Work with Supply Chain team and factory to manage backlog, monthly purchase orders and loading, purchasing, and expediting of raw materials and long lead items, lead time issues, resource needs (Capacity, components, people) and identification of material excess and parts shortages.
  • Map demand vs. supply, and issue, manage, and expedite of all purchase orders to the plant as well as logistics coordination with plant logistics teams to the various global hubs.
  • Monitor dispatch of finished goods to distribution hubs and keep a weekly tracker
  • Will help develop plans to ensure no delay of Solar and Prosumer forecast production plan.
  • Follow up on demand fulfillment from Manufacturing Plant / HUB
  • Tracking of aging parts inventory and commitments to suppliers
  • Work within the Schneider ERP systems to manage orders, track shipments, plan production and develop reports.
  • Support various teams with order processing, distribution, and coordination of shipments, pre and postproduction queries, stock level management, logistics and product information.
  • Work in cooperation with our partners organizing item reception, storage, inventory management, order preparation, and final shipment to distribution hubs.
  • Create dashboards, presentations, and recommendations that will be instrumental in decision-making for Management and factory build plans.
  • Leads ramp up & ramp down planning for components and finished goods with all stakeholders (Marketing / GSC / Industrialization).
  • Receive and verify transporters bills and give clearance to accounts for payment.

What qualifications will make you successful

  • 10+ years of Experience in Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain and Order Execution management in a manufacturing environment; preferably in a Global function.
  • Proficient in operations planning with experience using Oracle based systems and/or Kinaxis, as well as intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Able to create easy to comprehend, predicative models and trend analysis.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems as well as EDI exchanges (Preferably Oracle), high proficiency in Excel, and a knowledge of Kinaxis is considered an asset.
  • Basic Ability to read, write and speak in good English,
  • Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, materials management, or related field; background in production of finished goods manufacturing is an asset.
  • Possess the ability to quickly acquire an in-depth understanding of the internal applications and processes to administer orders and move our goods.
  • Resourcefulness You are self-sufficient and can work with various teams to decipher and understand information, manipulate data, and create new and improved processes.
  • Ability to take direction from multiple sources, prioritize and multi-task under pressure
  • Ability to think with a global mindset and work with an international culturally diverse team where you will foster trusting relationships with colleagues.
