Job Description
Role Responsibilities
- Senior Technical SRE Manager for application management and service delivery in Digital Foundation technology individual contributor role.
- Technical analysis, troubleshooting complex incidents and business stakeholder management.
- Meeting SLAs and improvement on support performance by focusing on preventive measures.
- Identify and implement the service improvement actions and contribute to SRE transformation journey.
- Continuous improvement on proactive monitoring, housekeeping automation and capacity planning to proactively detect and avoid incidents.
- SRE Enablement of apps supported
- Vulnerability Management for apps supported
- Infra Management for relevant apps
- Production Change management - Accountable for managing the changes getting onto production / application releases and rollouts with zero or minimal impact to stability.
- Impact assessment for dependent changes of the surround systems, infrastructure, networking etc.
- Accountable for ensuring proper documentation of all production changes (e.g. monitoring & recovery procedures, fall back plan, implementation plan etc.)
- Problem management Analyse and prioritize the application fixes. Collaborate with delivery counterparts for production problem fixes in a timely manner to minimise service degradation.
- Risk management - Proactively identify and manage the application risk through appropriate mitigation controls.
- Audit Management Participate and manage the internal and external technology and business stakeholders-initiated audits.
- Ensure Disaster recovery procedure / plan and Business Continuity management plan are up to date and be ready for anytime.
Publish monthly MIS related to incident, problem, change trends along with Risk, SIP and RCA Action Items to senior stakeholders
Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
ROLE SPECIFIC TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Hands-on Full stake software development and application support experience.
- Technical experience in technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Scala, HiveSQL, PL/SQL,Python
- Experience in managing banking applications / delivery of largescale enterprise technology solutions and services
- Ability to technical influence and drive the pear SRE team responsible for supporting multiple application across locations of diversified culture.
- Very good communication and presentation skills to work and report to either the business, a global support team or other support groups, i.e. infrastructure, network, etc.,
- Open mindset that drives end-to-end automation via tooling Expert
- Working knowledge and usage of tools such as Control/M, Monitoring tools like ITRS, ELK, Grafana, Jboss, WebSphere and MQ Series, Oracle
- Exposure to SRE, DevOps, Vx pipeline, CI/CD
- SRE Certificiation
