Position Purpose
Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the team s goal.
Manager/AVP will be responsible to manage the performance of his/her team and ensure all the daily tasks related to Global static data carried out in the MFS department are completed on time. He/ She will work closely with the local and global MFS management and is expected to deliver high level of transparency and
communication standards. The candidate is expected to manage the multiple process in different
applications, manage the team members who will be working in different shift timings, allocate work efficiently and ensure there is sufficient support to all the global regions in terms of Static Data process.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Should have strong understanding on Static Data Administration and Manage static data process end to end: Monitor the set-up of different types of Static creation in the back office applications and ensure timely delivery of the setups as per the SLA.
Oversight the entire process and have a regular control measures on any new client account opening, broker-relationship set-ups, ISIN creation, Collateral &Tax matrix setups and settlement instructions into various internal applications as requested by various departments such as Business Support Team, Relationship Manager or Front Office
Active participation and being the spoke on migrations/project calls and local management forums thereby able to add values and contribute.Ability to coordinate with the Application support and IT teams to identify the issues and to test the system readiness post each release.
Perform control tasks required for the process such as validation of setups, review of reports, double check an confirm the completion of tasks within the deadline in line with daily checklists
Procedures and checklists must be updated/ prepared with immediate effect to be in-line with delivery standards and SLA
Monitor the performance, skill matrix of the team and exhibit an understanding to contribute to the decision making process of the management team, through providing feedback and ideas, attending assigned meetings and following up on deliverables.
Constantly improve business knowledge through training and multi-skilling and ensure yourself is cross-trained across various functions in the team and identify areas for change and ensure they are followed up and implemented.
Follow appropriate escalation procedures and be a risk manager for the process by verifying the control processes, following up on the incident reports and implementing the preventive measures without delay.
Ensure that the management reports are sent in due time and maintain the KPI well
Ensure to have a good communication with all the Stake holders
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines.
Ability to handle the team which is very transversal in nature as well as work in a team environment in coordination with the employees and the managers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required.
Decision making skills is required as a manager
