We are hiring GLOBAL SUPPLY PLANNER for our client in APAC region
Experience : 2 to 4 years
Location : Bangalore
General Shift
THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION and will be extendable
Job Summary:
Reporting to Manager- Demand and Supply Planning, the successful candidate will be part of global SIOP process and would be responsible for supply planning activities for APAC region.
Essential Responsibilities
- Weekly backorder reporting and analysis.
- Placing purchase orders to suppliers as per MRP, re-order report and special POs, follow-up with vendor for order acknowledgement, commitment date and shipment once the PO is released.
- Decision making on MRP for the requirement of materials triggered in system.
- Supporting APAC regions for supply chain activities and ensuring material is shipped on time as committed.
- Corrective measures taken to resolve pricing discrepancy in shipping documents.
- Direct inbound operations, such as transportation, forwarder details or logistics quality management.
- Tracking all shipments from the place of origin to destination and resolve problems concerning transportation and logistics system.
- Resolve L&D queries for custom clearance, FTA etc.
- Create and update open order summary report on daily basis.
- Responsible for the weekly, monthly reporting of Global measurements to all Manager, Clients and Executive teams.
- Resolve MAPLE ageing cases.
Key Skills
- Knowledge of Supply Planning, Statistics.
- Sound knowledge of Inventory Management, Safety Stock, MRP run etc.
Educational/Experience Background:
Graduate with 2-4 years of related experience.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of ERPs SAP, PRONTO, BAAN
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiatives.
