Jio Platforms is an Indian technology company and a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, headquartered in Mumbai, India. Established in 2019 it acts as a holding company for India's largest mobile network operator Jio and other digital businesses of Reliance. It has made significant investments across its digital ecosystem, powered by leading technologies spanning broadband connectivity, smart devices, cloud and edge computing, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, augmented and mixed reality and blockchain.

Cloud PC is a new business initiative being driven by Jio to address the pain points of desktop/laptop management with a cloud delivered/on prem offering of DaaS(Desktop as a service) offering for Enterprises, SMB and Consumers at the best possible cost. The solution would include multi form factor compute devices, DaaS(Desktop as a Service) delivered on-prem/Cloud, Cloud Storage, Secure Access Management and associated bundled tech services. The Cloud PC leverages existing investments made by Jio in creating a state of art multi datacenters offering Jio Cloud Services and pan India 5G connectivity backbone.

With Cloud PC, organizations can now have the freedom and cost benefits to build, manage and deploy end point compute devices in a very agile fashion using their preferred tools and frameworks.

The team at Jio Platforms is focused on new customer acquisition across India at scale. You will have the exciting opportunity to work with a diverse set of team members with experience across Hyperscalers (AWS, GCP & Azure). You will get to collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, partner, and marketing teams, while being part of an entirely new and breakthrough concept from infancy to scale with Jio Cloud PC.

You will be supported by a world class leadership team that is results oriented, empowers you to execute and is extremely hands-on to unlock customer value.

As Sales Managers for Cloud PC Business, you will be responsible for creating, validating, progressing and closure of Cloud PC pipeline with Jio sales team in your segment. This role needs a collaborative mindset with a passion for transforming status quo with new and innovative technology offerings to drive Cloud PC business.

Key Job Requirements :

  • An Engineering Graduate with techno Commercial exposure of 12+ Years in Enterprise B2B sales (Includes Licensed software, Cloud Software, Cloud Infrastructure, Services & Hardware)
  • Experience with solution selling, consultative positioning and business problem solving.
  • Proficiency in managing conversations with CIOs, Founders, Board Members, CISOs, CTOs and business leaders to drive ambitious business goals.
  • Ability to build and execute strategic deals that drive digital transformation.
  • Existing relationships in key accounts with head honchos will be considered a plus.

Key abilities required:

  • Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
  • Sound financial skills for budgeting and pricing purposes coupled with an understanding of risk, financial and business models
  • Good understanding of end user computing technologies like secure access, Virtual Desktop, App Publishing, Remote Device management, thin client computing, DaaS solutions etc.
  • A strong business and commercial orientation and with a supporting strategic thinking ability
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain solid stakeholder relationships
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent consulting skills and the ability to recognize opportunities for future business within an account
  • Assertive in approach coupled with confident in area of expertise coupled with excellent leadership skills
  • Strategic and creative thinking ability and knowledge of industry and technologies to generate sound decisions
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate and influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business
