Job Description: Cloud Database Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain cloud-based database systems that meet high availability and quality standards, tailored to client requirements.
• Handle data migration from various systems to relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Develop ETL packages using Kafka and Debezium for efficient data integration and transformation.
• Define user access and ensure timely data distribution to the right users in the appropriate format.
• Implement high-speed transaction recovery techniques and perform regular data backups.
• Minimize database downtime by optimizing parameters to ensure fast query responses.
• Provide both proactive and reactive data management support, as well as training for users as needed.
• Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when necessary.
• Design and implement cloud-based databases that align with client information needs and views.
• Enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
