Job Description
- Installing and configuring networking hardware and software.
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Proven ability with wireless optimizations, including AP placement, achieving ideal signal levels, optimized roaming.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues using network analysis tools.
- Planning and implementing network upgrades.
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency).
- Resolve network-related problems reported by end users.
- Maintain and perform the necessary needs of all network-connected devices.
- Recommend, test, and implement system and security upgrades
- 5+ yrs Hands-on experience in networking, routing and switching.
- Experience with FortiGate firewalls and Cisco switches and routers and routing protocol, Forcepiont proxy server troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
- Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure.
- Knowledge in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide Cisco solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of large enterprise network infrastructure.
- Steep learning to understand and troubleshoot the issue effectively
- Collaborate and work with the team to bring out effective solutions for networking issues
- Able to organize and prioritize the task based on the severity.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of network infrastructure.
- Diagnoses problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing technologies and environments
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional certification, such as Fortinet Certified like NSE 4, Cisco Certified CCNA, or CCNP.
