Job Description
- Hiring Site Safety Officer for multiple locations (Mumbai/Gujarat/Jammu & Kashmir) in a Fire Protection system company. Experience - Minimum 2 years Salary - Open for right candidate Immediate to 15 days notice period candidates are preferred. Responsibilities Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, including physical, chemical, biological, and ergonomic hazards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement. Also conducting TBT. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels, covering topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, PPE usage, and safe work practices. Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety concerns to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences. Maintain thorough records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions taken, and report findings to management and regulatory agencies as required. Conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency plans and ensure that employees are prepared to respond appropriately. Ensure that safety equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and used according to site guidelines and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Proficiency in MS office. (Word/Excel). Willingness to travel any parts of the country and stay for project execution. Fluency in English, Hindi. Manpower management skill & Hardworking, should have prior experience of directly handling at least a team of 50 Manpower. A strong understanding of occupational safety principles, regulations (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, NFPA), industry-specific safety standards, and best practices. Ability to conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
