Job Summary: We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a SRE team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs. Key Responsibilities: Networking: o Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. o Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, QoS) o Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, and other essential network services. o Monitor network performance, optimize traffic, and troubleshoot connectivity issues. o Thorough understanding of IP Networks, including VLANs o Implement network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPNs. o Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues o Firewalls, switches, routers and other network equipment (Cisco, Fortinet) o Collaborate with ISPs, telecom providers, and external vendors to resolve network-related issues. o Ability to analyse network performance and identify bottlenecks. Collaboration and Support: o Work closely with development, IT, telecommunications, and Data Centre teams to ensure seamless operations and integration of services. o Provide support for network, Linux, VoIP, and Data Centre-related issues to internal teams and end-users. o Document configurations, procedures, network diagrams, VoIP setups, and Data Centre layouts. o Participate in on-call rotation to address urgent issues. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Network Operation Engineer with a focus on networking and Data Centre management. In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat). Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, etc.). Hands-on experience in Data Centre operations, including server management, rack installation, and environmental monitoring. Knowledge of security best practices and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and documentation skills.,
