Job Description

• To keep crash cart up to date.
• Preparation and checking the emergency drugs.
• Maintaining the availability of all drugs and consumables.
• Setting up the procedure trolleys.
• Assisting for all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintaining all aseptic techniques in cath lab
• To have active participation in Time Out procedure.
• To maintain patients privacy & dignity.
• Maintain smooth & healthy working pattern in Cath lab.
• Maintain proper inventory.
• Maintain smooth & healthy working pattern in Cath lab
• Maintain proper inventory ,
• Maintaining proper documentation, recording & reporting.
• To be aware of handling Emergency situation.
• To maintain and check proper working condition of all equipments.
• To handle emergency cases like primary angioplasty, IABP insertion and temporary pacemaker.
• To be aware of radiation safety.
• Taking care of sterilized equipments.
• Hand over various instruments used.
• Explain the procedure to the patients and relatives to avoid fear and confusion.
• To prevent infection to patients by proper hand washing before and after the procedures.
• To inculcate proper waste disposable according to infection control protocols
