As part of Zero Moblt , you will be joining a diverse group of individuals that value- integrity, innovation, excellence & fun Role Description This is 42 day unpaid apprenticeship hybrid role for an Android Platform Engineer at Zero Moblt. During this apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dynamic team, contributing to a critical project that closely aligns with your suggested ideas while gaining hands-on experience with our unique process & frameworks . Your responsibilities will include spearheading the development and implementation of strategies that are vital to our android experiences and your future vision, while ensuring that everything meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be offered a full time role "Android Platform Engineer, Zeroh Platforms team". This position will place you on a career path towards becoming a Senior Android Engineer and further can extend into Principle Android Engineer. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. Collaborate with the development team to create efficient and scalable solutions. Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies. Implement best practices for mobile app development, including security, performance, and user experience. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with designers to ensure the app's visual appeal and user-friendliness. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Qualifications 1-5 Yrs Experience with Mobile App Development Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages. In-depth understanding of Android development frameworks and tools (e.g., Android Studio, Gradle). Experience with Jetpack components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room). Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating with backend services. Familiarity with security best practices for mobile app development. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies Non Malicious Intent Passion for contributing to a safe and supportive community Any bachelors degree relevant to the field (MBA is a plus) Compensation and Benefits Those who are part of an apprenticeship program Are provided with complimentary accommodation and food for the interim until the duration of the apprenticeship (if relocation is needed) Have access to all information/archives tagged as confidential and secret Have full visibility in every decision made by the directors Get to attend all meetings with investors and shareholders and internal meetings Access to funds to experiment for their units operating expenses as outlined by the funding framework document (FFD) Have no fixed working hours except for the scope and outcomes that need to be achieved. Upon successful completion presented with a unique one of a kind brand asset which is valued internally at a buy back value over the next 3 years at 100,000 INR ( One Lakh Rupees) Career Path Post Apprenticeship There are 3 possible tracks that you can fall under post the completion of the apprenticeship Android Engineer - Associate, Senior, Principle Android Lead - Associate, Senior, Principle Mobile Engineering - Head, Director, Chief Each has a variation of Salary band (4-8LPA) starting with Associate levels between (4.5-6.5LPA) meaning next level will be (9.5-12LPA) this excludes variable.,
