Job Description
Important Note:
This is a Work from Office role based out of our Goa center (Pilerne - Candolim Rd, Industrial Estate).
Most of the trainings will be web based out of our center.
Added brownie points if you can create content for the training too.
The Manager - Training will lead and oversee the trainings related to tools and processes used by different corporate and operations functions across the organization. The core focus will be on performance related metrics training, job role related scheduled curriculum training and induction training. The role also demands superior analytics acumen to identify areas / teams which require extra emphasis on training. The Manager will research, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training initiatives that promote people capabilities throughout the organization.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in developing and implementing training and development programs in Supply Chain organizations.
- Experience of managing a team in the past.
- Deep understanding and background in a Logistics environment.
- Clarity regarding running a training ecosystem which comprises of Operations Coaches.
- Excellent time-management and self-management skills.
- Confident influencer who can exude high levels of energy, passion and drive.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Provides varying communication types including but not limited to writing material, writing reports, presenting material to small and large groups, writing routine correspondence maintain sensitivity.
- Ensures two way and effective communications between the company and team members.
- Fluency in English. Additionally, proficiency in any 2 Indian regional language is desirable
- Excellent facilitation and platform skills including the ability to disseminate content effectively and engage all participants
- Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication with both internal and external levels of management.
- Proven strong ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Able to analyze problems and make recommendations for better solutions.
- Intermediate understanding of learning management systems and/or eLearning platforms
- Ability to travel as needed
- Excellent Analytic skills
