Overview The Talend Developer plays a crucial role in the organization by designing, developing, and implementing Talend ETL processes to support data integration, data warehousing, and business intelligence initiatives. This role is essential in ensuring that the organization's data systems are efficient, reliable, and scalable. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data integration requirements. Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using Talend to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse. Optimize and tune ETL jobs for improved performance and scalability. Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and data models. Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity. Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth data flow. Work with cross-functional teams to support data modeling and database design efforts. Collaborate with the testing team to validate ETL processes and ensure accurate data transformation. Stay updated with the latest Talend features and best practices to continuously enhance ETL solutions. Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience working as a Talend Developer or in a similar ETL development role. Strong knowledge of data integration concepts and ETL tools. Proficiency in SQL and database technologies. Experience with Java and related frameworks for custom component development in Talend. Understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices. Familiarity with Big Data technologies and platforms. Ability to perform data profiling and analysis using Talend and other data tools. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good understanding of software development methodologies and practices. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team environment. Certifications in Talend or related technologies is a plus. Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions is desirable. Knowledge of data governance and security standards.
