Roles and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for tie-ups with Banks
Work with banks and the Banks sales team - as a channel to generate revenue, either through merchant conversations or jointly pitching the gateway along with any other bank product deals.
Work with Banks on revenue generation areas like Competitive Pricing / Joint product offerings etc.
This role will be responsible for generating leads/ opportunities across sectors from the Banks.
Resource to be based at Mumbai and would be covering pan India locations or as required.
Experience in long-term sales/project pipeline development.
Should be able to do stakeholder management across levels and cross-functions.
RFP/ RFQ deliveries for bank driven white labelled projects/ custom merchant projects.
Be informed of the payment industry landscape, competitions/competitors and client requirements at various levels.
Facilitate seamless onboarding and integration of Payphi as a Vendor / Customer in the banks ecosystem as well as ensure set-up on system and its complete alignment across departments.
Ensuring adherence to a well-defined process of tracking the leads generated from the banks to reporting them both to the respective bank(s) as well as to the internal MIS for monitoring progress.
Ensuring regular monitoring of targets and their achievement.
Ensuring that the engagements are well formalized with the partner banks by way of agreement(s) and agreed base rates and mark-ups applicable, if any.
Also taking care of internal closure with cross-functional departments like Legal, Finance or any other.
Desired Candidate Profile
Min 8 - 10 years of work experience in Digital Payments who has managed Banking/Financial partnerships, Banking Alliances and have closely worked with banks and other financial partners.
Has experience in PG acquiring, issuing and online payments business.
Should be aware of the pricing structure in online payments for cards, net banking, schemes, interchanges etc. and should have good negotiation skills.
Build, evaluate and manage partnerships that deepens Payphi product stack and also able to explore new opportunities with them to partner with them as technology partner and able to close such opportunities.
