Roles and Responsibilities
Job Description:
Affinity is looking for an experienced Creative Team Leader for one of our top 10 clients This position will manage a team of designers with a primary goal of a high degree of accuracy and quality for each of the orders in a fast-paced environment where we are exactly meeting the detailed specifications for each art order. This role will be responsible for supervising, mentoring and motivating team members on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
Understanding the creative brief and converting it to actionable design output resulting in customer satisfaction based on their request
Overseeing and contributing to the development of required creative; managing and guiding the team on the same
Monitoring the workflow and ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded
Regular interaction with the designers, peer mentors, supervisors & managers contributing to the creation of strong concepts and following up on their execution
Build, guide and lead an efficient team of designers, specializing in branding and advertising projects
Experience in grooming the designers along with creating of training materials along with executing them in regular intervals
Must have an understanding of operational skills to collaborate with the operations team and assist to the best of abilities
Should be able to manage a team of 10/15 designers independently
Open to work in night/day (rotational) shifts as per the operational requirements
Evaluating and training designers.
Consistently meet the KPIs (on quality, productivity etc)
Daily Team Operations Management preferable
Candidate Profile:
Min 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in a Design/Advertising/Branding department/agency
Excellent knowledge of all graphic design application Softwares (Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop) and basic hands on MS office.
Good Presentation Skills .
BFA/GD Art/ B .Design in advertising, fine art, Design or relevant field.
In-depth knowledge of design, marketing, and advertising concepts
Strong team player
A people-person, capable of building strong professional relationships
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Excellent English comprehension skills to interpret client direction and expectations.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to details
Excellent at coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members
Proven experience as a Supervisor/Mentor or in a similar creative role.
Ability to manage a group of team members independently.
Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in night shifts in a 24x7 work environment.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Individual contributor as well a strong team player
Daily Team Operations Management preferable
